My therapeutic approach is integrative and I draw from Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I also have a keen interest in Mindfulness Meditation and Creative Therapies. My therapeutic style is adapted to best meet the individual needs of each client I see.
This interdisciplinary approach incorporates various forms of psychotherapy to aid you in becoming your own therapist for your particular circumstances, experiences, and environment.
I believe in empowering you to discover the skills to achieve a sense of inner balance by relying on all the resources you possess through body, mind, and spirit.
I know that the greater things in life we find when we lean into discomfort and the unknown. As a therapist, I will become a partner in your journey to a better and fuller life.

My special areas of interest are trauma, relationship difficulties, depression, and anxiety-related issues.
Most people feel anxious at their first meeting with a therapist. This is perfectly normal. I understand how difficult it is to make this decision and I will provide a space where you can feel heard, understood, secure, safe, and welcomed. I will explain how therapy works; we will discuss confidentiality, safety, privacy, previous experience of therapy (if any). Please ask as many questions as you like. It is important for me that you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Usually, the first sessions are about understanding the reasons you decided to seek therapy, so I will ask questions and try to gather as much information as possible so that I can properly understand your concerns.
How to book a session?
I answer all my calls and emails. If I am not available to answer your call, please leave a message on my voicemail. It is helpful to leave a daytime phone number and an evening phone number, as well as the best times, to reach you. I will call you back as soon as possible, generally within 24 hours.
I offer both online and face to face sessions.
